Configure Student printers on your PC - Windows 10

This article is intended for use by students who need to setup their Windows 10 devices to print to the Student Lab Printers.

To configure the Student Lab printers on your Windows 10 deviceĀ  you will have to be connected to the Columbia U Secure network. After accessing the student print server. Double click the printer that you want to setup. Your computer will download and install printer software and settings from the print server. After it is setup you will be able to see the printers available from your programs.

  1. From the taskbar, right-click the Start button.

  2. Click the File ExplorerĀ shortcut.

    Ā 

  3. In the Address bar, enter: \\lawstudprdps01.adcu.columbia.edu and press the Enter key on your keyboard.


  4. Enter:
    User Name: adcu\YourUNI
    Password: YourUniPassword

  5. Select the Remember my credentials checkbox.

  6. Click the OK button.

  7. Double-click WJHL_2FL_Printers.

    Ā 

  8. Select the Close button.

    Ā 

  9. Double-click WJHL_2FL_Printer_COLOR.

    Ā 

  10. Select the Close button.
