Add a Network Printer - CUPrint

Use the following guide to map a network printer to your device

 

 

Not all printers are network printers. If your printer is directly connected to your device via USB, these instructions do not apply to you.

Step-by-step Guide:

  1. Laptops - Connect to VPN using Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client

    1. Desktops are directly connected to the campus network and do not require VPN connection

  2. Type the following command in the Windows search bar: \\cuprint

  3. Find your target printer

    1. All printers use the following naming convention:

      1. Department - Building(floor) - Printer model 

  4. Double click your target printer to map it to your device

  5. Your printer will now be available from a drop down list within printing preferences
