Print to Student printers from your Mac

This article is intended for students who need to print to the Law School Student printers.

Requirements:

• Configure Student Printers

• Connect to Columbia U Secure

Send print job to Student Printers

1. On the Menu Bar > Click the Apple menu icon.
   
   
   

2. Click the System Settings… command.
   
   
   

3. Click the Printers & Scanners setting.
   
   
   

4. Select one of the Student Printers that you configured.
   
   
   

5. Click the Printer Queue… button.
   
   
   

6. Select the Printer command.
   
   
   

7. Select the Print Test Page option.
   
   
   

8. Click the Half-Circle icon.
   
   
   

9. Enter YourUNI and password.
   
   
   

10. Check the Remember this password in my keychain checkbox.
    
    
    

11. Click the Ok button.
    
    
    

Release print job to Student Printers

Release stations are computers that were preconfigured for use with Student Printers. After you send a print job to the Student Printers you will see your UNI in the release station. Please follow the steps to release your print job:

1. Find your UNI in the release station.
   
   
   

2. Double-click your UNI.
   
   
   

3. Enter YourUNI password.
   
   
   

4. Double-click your print job.
   
   
   

5. Select the printer to print to.
