Web Printing using PawPrint Center
This article is for Law School students who want to quickly print documents to the PawPrint Printers using an internet browser.
Web printing through the PawPrint Center provides a convenient way to submit documents from a laptop, tablet, or mobile device without installing the PawPrint drivers or configuring a printer on the device.
Web Printing
PawPrint supports common document and image formats, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, image files, and text files such as CSV, RTF, and TXT. PawPrint also supports print jobs up to 50 MB in size. The steps below will guide you through submitting a print job using your internet browser:
Visit the PawPrint Center website:
https://pawprint.columbia.eduEnter YourUNI and password, and click the LOGIN button.
Click the Upload button.
Double-click the Document you want to print.
Click your document to select it.
Set your Print options for your Document
Black & White or Color
Single- or double-sided
Number of Pages per sheet
Number of Copies
Your document has now been setup to your PawPrint account. Print jobs remain available for approximately one hour.
Release your print job
PawPrint printers are equipped with a card reader that is connected to the printer. The card reader allows you to securely release your print jobs using your Columbia University ID Card (CUID).

Tap your CUID on the card reader at the PawPrint station.
Tapping your CUID releases all print jobs currently waiting in your PawPrint queue.
Your PawPrint printing balance is automatically charged when the print job is released and printed.
