Malwarebytes Premium for your PC - Windows 11

This article is intended for use by students who need to setup their Windows devices with Malwarebytes.

Malwarebytes is a security program that protects your Windows device from malicious threats. Law School students are entitled to (1) free premium license, for one (1) Mac of your choice. The license needs to be validated every 12 months.

Configure Malwarebytes

Please follow the steps to configure Malwarebytes on your Windows device:

1. Visit the CUIT Security Downloads website.

   Open

   

    

2. Click the Malwarebytes Link.

   Open

   

   
   
   

3. Enter YourUNI email address.

    

4. Click the Claim Malwarebytes License button.

    

5. Enter YourUNI and password.

    

6. Click the LOGIN button.

    

7. Click the Send me a Push button.
   
   
   

8. Tap the checkmark to approve the login request from your mobile device.
   
   
   

9. Click the Download button.
   

    

10. From the taskbar, right-click the Start button.

     

11. Click the File Explorer shortcut.
    
    
    

12. Click your Downloads folder.
    
    
    

13. Double-click the MbSetup.exe file to start the installation.

     

14. Click the Yes button.

     

15. Click the Install button.

     

16. Click the Me or my family option.

     

17. Click the Next button.

     

18. Click the Skip this for now link.
    

     

19. Click the Done button.

     

20. Click the Get started button

     

21. Click the Close button.

     

22. Visit the CUIT Security Downloads website.

23. Click the Malwarebytes link.

24. Enter YourUNI email address.

     

25. Click the Claim Malwarebytes License button.

     

26. Click the Activate button. 
    
    
    

27. Click the Allow option

     

28. Click the Send me a Push button.

29. Click the Activate button.

23. Click the Done button.
