Certification for Professional Achievement

Students who would like to apply for a Certification for Professional Achievement should apply here: https://advising.sps.columbia.edu/register/cpa.

  1. The form requires Single Sign-On (SSO) and is prepopulated with some of their contact information
  2. The student enters his/er name as they would like it to be displayed on the certificate. The student also enters their intended graduation term and year.
  3. Upon completion of the form, a confirmation page is displayed on the screen and sent to the student by email. The email is also sent to spsadvising@columbia.edu.
  4. The administrator reviews the application and enters a status (unprocessed, in review, conferred, or denied.
  5. Upon conferring the degree, the administrator enters a conferred date, enters the requisite information into Slate and enters an Added to SIS Date.
