The data that is loaded from Acuity Appointments into Slate needs to conform to specific standards for proper processing. This document will cover the source format that has been configured, including the detailed file specifications, use cases, and development cycles.

Source Format Processing

• The Acuity Appointments source format has been created to support importing Acuity data from an Excel file
  • This process has not been automated as it is intended to be a interim solution until event and appointment management in Slate is implemented
  • Important Steps Before Uploading
    • UNI values must be added to the "What is your UNI?" column of the report for all rows where it is missing
    • The data format first column of the report must be changed to a simple date (01/01/2022) or the date of the appointment will not be correctly loaded
  • All appointments are loaded as interactions, and will appear in the student timeline
