How To Set Up DUO Multifactor Authentication

DUO Multi-Factor Authentication is now required for Faculty, Staff, and Students!
To setup DUO:
- Go to: https://uniapp.cc.columbia.edu/acctmanage/mfaselfservice and log in with your UNI
- Click "SETUP"
- Follow on the on screen steps to get set up

Tip #1: If you haven't signed up for Duo, your browser will prompt you to do so the first time you log in starting March 1, 2022 (for Faculty, Staff, and Students).
Tip #2: If you check the Duo "Remember me for 24 hours" box, you'll only have to use Duo once in any 24 hour period for each web browser you use.
Tip #3: When you first sign up for Duo, if you want your browser to "Remember me for 24 hours”, don't select the option to “Automatically send this device a Duo Push”.
