Axon: GPU Cluster
Axon is a heterogeneous GPU cluster designed around the needs of the Zuckerman Institute. The service was first piloted in 2018, with the Abbott Lab contributing three nodes in the interest of starting a dedicated GPU cluster to complement other scientific computing offerings at Columbia. The success of the pilot led to the Kriegeskorte and Issa labs purchasing additional nodes in 2019.
For those working remotely due to COVID19
Axon can be accessed remotely by using the CUIT Virtual Private Network (VPN) service. See Getting Started for more information.
