Uninstalling Flash Player
In an effort to further strengthen our Cybersecurity in the University, CUIT is removing Adobe Flash Player from CUIT-managed systems (Desktops and Servers). Adobe ended support for Flash Player on December 31st, 2020; full details around the end of Flash Player support are available on Adobe's website.
What you need to do:
Review and remove Adobe Flash Player on the desktops and servers you manage
If CUIT manages your desktop or server it will be removed on the following dates, no action will be required for you
CUIT Managed Desktops - Monday, January 11th at 9am EST
CUIT Managed Servers - Friday January 22nd 2021
Adobe flash is also used in web site infrastructure, it is recommended to review all code which might have flash reference

Adobe flash player can now be uninstalled using the software center
Instructions
After logging in to a server, you may be prompted that “New Software is available” for your computer. This prompt will be displayed in the bottom right corner of your screen.
You can open the Software Center by clicking the prompt depicted above or;
Navigate to the Software center by clicking the Windows icon in the bottom left corner, scrolling to “Microsoft Endpoint Manager” then double-clicking “Software Center” or;
Click the magnifying glass in the bottom left corner, start typing in “Software Center” and then double-click on “Software Center”
After the Software center opens, click Applications (Upper left).
Click on “CUIT - Adobe Flash Player - Uninstall”
Click on “Install”
When the installation is complete, the button will now say “Reinstall”
