Welcome to Insomnia Cluster User Documentation
The Insomnia High Performance Computing (HPC) Cluster is a service supporting research at Columbia.
Getting Support
For technical assistance, software requests, or troubleshooting, please contact the CUIT HPC support team.
Email: hpc-support@columbia.edu
Response Time: Within two (2) business days for non-critical issues.
When emailing, please include:
Your UNI (e.g., ab1234)
Cluster Name: "Insomnia"
Job ID Numbers: (If reporting a specific job failure or error)
Usage Policy
All computing activities on Insomnia must comply with the Columbia University E-Mail & Computing Policies.
Sharing: Users are prohibited from sharing UNI credentials.
Data: Strictly no HIPAA or Sensitive Data is permitted on the shared cluster.
