Orientation Process
IEOR Orientation is one of our largest events for our MS Students. It has the most moving pieces.
The structure is typically as follows:
We have a large kickoff meeting for all our incoming students, followed by 3 - 4 lunches at neighborhood restaurants within walking distance.

A note on date:
This event is typically held the day before SEAS Welcome Day, usually the second-to-last Thursday in August (8/24-25 ish)
Staffing:
Kickoff is typically an "all-hands" event. All staff are required to participate.
Event staffing usually lines up as follows:
- Check-in tables (2 staff at each, 1 student ambassador)
- 1 Staff and 1 Ambassador on line control
- 1 Staff and 1 Intern/Ambassador on Swag table
- 2 Ambassadors as ushers
