Recommended Printers for Office Use

CUIT supports and recommends HP printers.

For inquiries on procuring in office printers, please submit a ticket with the following questions answered:

1. Do you need a color printer or black/white printer?

2. What functions do you need? Do you need a multifunction printer (scanner/printer/copier/fax)?

3. Will this printer be a network printer (shared printer on the network) or a local printer (printer for one user via physical connection)?

4. How many people would need to print to this printer?

5. Will anyone be printing anything that requires high quality printing (pictures/graphics/etc)? or would it be standard/normal printing?

6. Is there a rough estimate of how many pages will be printed on a monthly basis?

7. Do you need to have high printing per minute (60 pages per minute, 80 pages per minute, etc)?

8. Any other requirements we should be aware of?

We will then spec out a printer and submit to review.
