Mass Creation/Deletion of Instances

Amazon Web Services instances, and the ability to immediately request computing infrastructure, can be spun into a malicious event. The computing infrastructure hosted in the cloud house sensitive operations relying on these devices to perform. Detecting a complete removal or addition of multiple instances in a short time frame can be perceived as an attempt to sabotage the account or application through denial of service (DoS). CUIT security and infrastructure will investigate accordingly to mitigate damages and determine root cause.
