AWS Region Outside the US

Selecting the proper regions is important from an operational standpoint. Services relying on optimal performance are determined as result of the proximity to the user. Fault tolerance acts as another consideration where a region or availability zone has the potential to fail, utilizing multiple regions can help combat the potential for unavailability of your resources.

The appearance of this alert is considered troubling if, suddenly, a region never before in use outside of the United States appears as an active zone. CUIT resources are solely dedicated to operate in regions within the US.  This could signify that an attacker is trying to covertly operate under the radar and steal resources from the account owner.
