The host key is a 6-digit PIN used to claim host controls a meeting. You can edit or view your host key in your profile. This host key is applied to meetings you schedule.

  1. Make sure you have the host key and the meeting link.
    1. To find your host key, please sign in to your account here: Zoom Sign In
    2. Scroll down to where it saids "Host Key" and click "Show"
    3. You should now be able to see your "Host Key"
    4. You may also edit your host key by clicking "Edit"
  2. Join the meeting you would like to claim host in.
  3. After you joined your meeting, click on the "Participants" button.
  4. You should then be able to see "Claim Host" under the list of participants. Please click on that button.
  5. You may then enter the "Host Key" and claim host.
  6. After you claim host you should be able to see the Host features below.
