The Terremoto High Performance Computing (HPC) Cluster is a service supporting research at Columbia.
All cluster inquiries should be directed to hpc-support@columbia.edu. Please include the following information in your email:
- Your Columbia UNI.
- The name of the cluster you are working on ("Terremoto" in this case).
- Job ID numbers, if asking about a job issue.
All computing at Columbia must abide by the Columbia University E-Mail & Computing Policies.
*** ATTENTION: Terremoto Downtime: Tuesday 11/10 from 9:00am to 6:00pm ***
The Terremoto cluster will be shut down for maintenance and updates on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM ET.
Please note that you will not have access to the Terremoto cluster or to any files located on its storage area during this time.
The job scheduler will be configured not to start any newly submitted jobs whose requested walltime extends into the downtime window. These jobs will wait in the queue until after the downtime is completed, at which point they will be free to run in accordance with the regular scheduling rules.
