Overview
The Admissions Summary Report (ASR) has been a staple of reporting the applicant pipeline at SPS for some time now. While it has served this purpose admirably over the years, the Analytics team has been diligently working on a new tool, the Enhanced Admissions Summary Report, that can not only provide more daily updates, but can do so without the hours of manual effort that it takes to create the original ASR.

The purpose of this document is to familiarize ASR users with the Enhanced ASR, and to point out where to locate the ASR information in the new report layouCourse Review Tool, CRT report is used to track key course metrics (# of courses, enrollment in courses, billing units, etc.) by the term and waitlist summary of the current term.


Steps: 

  1.  Log in  to the Power BI report:
  2. Select the 'SPS Enrollment' App
  3. Click on the 'Course Review Tool' CRT report

Please Note:

There are four report pages in the CRT report.

(1) All Sections - Complete list of courses offered in a term

(2) Course Summary - Number of courses offered by the Academic Departments and their start date and the Subterm code

(3) Waitlist Summary - Waitlist Headcount by Course, Program, and School.

(4) Waitlist Management - Waitlist page to Manage the Waitlist.

4. Select a Term to view the Courses from the 'All Sections' report page:

5. Select the Filters to narrow down your search

Description of the above report filters:

(1) Department Name: Name of the course offering Academic Department

(2) Enrollment Range - There are three filter options (1) Enrollment less than 10 and greater than 0 (2) Enrollment is zero  (3) Enrollment is more than 10

(3) Academic Credits - The actual credits the students took

(4) Billing Credits - The credits billed to the students

(5) Course Begin Date - The class begin date

(6) Course Enrollment Status - There are three filter options (1) Full - F (2) Blocked - B (3) Open - O

(7) Method of Instructions - There are multiple filter options: In-Person, Online Only, Hybrid, etc.

(8) Subterm Code - An alphabetical letter is used to identify the courses, for example, A, B, C, K, L, M, N, O, X, etc
