Labs must contact Research Computing by emailing “support@zi.columbia.edu” before purchasing any computing equipment that may potentially exceed the limitations of power and cooling capability of assigned Greene Science Center Lab space.
The Research Computing team will work with our operations and facilities contacts to determine where the equipment can be located.

Self-managed equipment purchased by individual labs that cannot be accomodated accommodated in lab spaces will have to be located elsewhere.
