When you first enter the room, please make sure that the computer is turned on. To do so, open the cabinet below the podium and you should see the computer. If it appears to be turned off, please press the power button to turn it on. To access everything you need for the AV in the room, please head towards the podium. If the lid is closed you can flip it over, inside you will find a TV remote control.


  1. First, turn the TV on. (Located inside the top lid of the podium)
  2. Move the computer mouse or pull out the keyboard tray and press the space bar to wake the computer up from sleep mode.
  3. You should now see the Room PC displayed on to the TV. 
  4. There is also a USB hub for your USB drives, located on the left side of the podium.
  5. For a laptop connection, there is also a HDMI cable located inside the topside of the podium.
    1. Then connect your adapter to the HDMI cable (if needed), located on the right side of the podium. (Adapters are not provided)
  6.  Your laptop will now be displayed on to the TV. (To switch back to classroom PC, simply unplug the HDMI cable and the room PC will be displayed)


Once you are done using the space, please power down the AV technology in the room.

  1. To do so, please use the TV remote control to turn off the TV.
