Add Student printers in Jerome Greene Hall
There are two queues available; a Regular queue and a Color Queue. Please follow the steps to add both on your Mac:
On the Menu Bar > Click the Apple menu icon.
Click the System Settings… command.
Click the Printers & Scanners setting.
Click the Add Printer, Scanners, or Fax... button.
Right-click the Add Printer Toolbar.

If the Advanced gear icon is visible in the Add Printer Toolbar, please move to Step: 11 |
Click the Customize Toolbar… option.
Click and hold down the trackpad or mouse on the Advanced gear icon.
Drag the Advanced gear icon over to the Add Printer Toolbar.
Let go of the trackpad or mouse, to drop the Advanced gear icon into place.
Click the Done button.
Click the Advanced gear icon.
Click the Type: drop-down menu.
Select the Windows printer via spoolss option.
Under URL: enter:
smb://lawstudprdps01.adcu.columbia.edu/GRHL_3FLLAB
Under Name: enter:
GRHL_3FLLAB
Click the Use: drop-down menu.
Click the Select Software… option.
On the Printer Software search bar, enter: 806
Click HP Laserjet M806 from the search list.
Click the OK button.
Click the Add button.
Click the Duplex Unit checkbox.
Click the Optional Tray: drop-down menu.
Select the HP LaserJet 3500-sheet High-capacity Input Tray option.
Click the OK button.
GRHL_3FLLAB will show up under the listed printers.
Click the Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax... button.
Click the Advanced gear icon.
Click the Type: drop-down menu.
Select the Windows printer via spoolss option.
Under URL: enter:
smb://lawstudprdps01.adcu.columbia.edu/GRHL_3FLLAB_COLOR
Under Name: enter:
GRHL_3FLLAB_COLOR
Click the Use: drop-down menu.
Click the Select Software… option.
On the Printer Software search bar, enter: 553
Click HP Color Laserjet M553 from the search list.
Click the OK button.
Click the Add button.
Select the Duplex Unit checkbox.
Select the Tray 3 checkbox.
Click the OK button.
GRHL_3FLLAB_COLOR will show up under the listed printers.
