  1. Sign in to your Columbia Zoom account via Zoom App
    1. If you are using a Mailman Lecture account, sign in with this link here: Mailman lecture Sign-in
  2. Once you are signed in click on your icon located at the top right corner of your Zoom app.

  3. Now click on "Settings" tab on your left hand side.Scroll down to the "Virtual background" feature and enable." button

  4. Under "Suppress background nose" by default it is set to "Auto"

  5. However depending on your level of background nose, you can adjust to High, Medium, and Low.
    1. You will also be required to download audio enhancement package, when you select either setting.

    2. Once your audio enhancement package has been downloaded, you should see that you've changed your level of background noise suppression.
